TKC has explored a brand-new way for the production of high-octane, unleaded and environmental friendly gasoline in the world. In order to raise the quality of gasoline and resolve the problem of pollution, to realize the production and application of high octane lead-free gasoline is the irreversible trend in all over the world. This is already realized in many countries including some developing countries, while in other countries it is on the march.
However, in view of the current situation of the refinery industry, it is difficult for most refineries to produce high octane unleaded automobile gasoline because of out-dated equipment, un-matching production plant and inability. Improving the refinery process, has to face the difficulties such as complex process, heavy investment, and long construction cycle.
Internationally, the main method for most countries to improve octane value of gasoline is to add additives, except a few developed countries such as the United States, Japan, and some European countries whose gasoline has higher proportion of alkylation and reforming components in its structure. To meet the continuously increasing need for higher octane gasoline, some developed countries in Europe and the United States are starting to use additives to increase the octane value of gasoline. Currently, additives used are MTBE, MMT,and lead tetraethide but these are just transitional products as they have been limited or prohibited for application by many authorities. TKC is advanced in technology, its product is a high-octane additive which requires small percentage to be added to achieve high octane, and is safe, non-toxic, inexpensive and extensive adaptability to basic gasoline. For oil refinery industry which cannot produce high standard gasoline due to equipment and process obstacles, TKC provides new opportunities for revolution. ★ FUNCTION OF TKC ★
TKC product as gasoline octane additive is of highly efficient, environment friendly and technologically advanced. It is invented for producing high octane lead-free gasoline which meet international standard. TKC, which include a series of products, is being widely applied in oil refinery industry for two purposes:
1）、By greatly increasing octane number, TKC can upgrade the straight run petrol and catalytic gasoline that is below the required standard into standard automobile gasoline；
2）、TKC can be used to modulate the stable light hydrocarbon or naphtha that cannot be used as gasoline into standard automobile gasoline. The technical standard of the automobile gasoline it modulates meets or is above the national and international standard of gasoline.
★ OTHER ACCOMPANIED EFFECT OF TKC ★
TKC additives can effectively improve the combustion characteristics of the gasoline, eliminate the production of several flame centers and peroxide, significantly strengthen theantiknock performance of the gasoline and the starting, acceleration, and climbing ability of the automobiles.The cleaning agent in the TKC could remove the carbon deposit inside the engine, reducing its noise level, extend its working life with efficient gasoline-saving effect as much as eight to twelve percent. Also, TKC gasoline can reduce the emission of carbon monoxide from the exhaust by 30-60 percent and nitrogen oxide compounds by 20-30 percent.
